5:30 PM: Sunset Yoga

7:00 PM: Dinner & free time (journaling, herbal tea, optional 1:1 sessions)

Day 2

6:00 AM: Morning bell & herbal tea

07:00 AM: Morning yoga for Adaptability & Fluidity

08:00 AM: Breakfast

09:00 AM: Trek to the waterfall, accessing and releasing emotional blocks

01:00 PM: Picnic lunch and free time

04:00 PM: Return to camp, tea and snacks

05:00 PM: Group meditation; inner child healing and building trust

07:00 PM: Dinner and free time; story circle, quiet reflection, optional emotional support sessions

9:00 AM: Activating solar plexus

9:00 AM: Outdoor reflective practices & group sharing

7:00 PM:   Dinner & free time (sky gazing, wind poetry, singing)

Day 5

6:00 AM: Morning bell & herbal tea

9:00 AM: Forest walk

1:00 PM:  Lunch & rest

4:00 PM: Tea & snacks

7:00 PM:  Dinner & free time (gratitude circle, stargazing, closing offerings)

Day 6

​8:00 AM: Light breakfast & farewells

9:00 AM: Departure from Sahaj Retreat

Participation Guidelines

  1. As a brief orientation session, a day before the retreat we get together in the evening
  2. It is recommended to arrive a day prior, or at the latest on the day of commencement of the retreat.
  3. Participants can clear any remaining fees for the retreat during this time frame.
  4. Full fee payment once made, will not be refunded. However, it could be adjusted towards future retreats.
  5. To make the most out of your experience we request participants to attend all the sessions
  6. In case of any discomfort or illness, please feel free to inform our teachers  Rakesh Upadhyay
  7. It is important to follow the Ashram rules pertaining to the courses conducted inside the ashram.
  8. It is our humble request to respect meal timings and appropriate attire.
  9. The food is nourishingly Satvic {Vegetarian}
  10. Usage of drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited. We wish to create a healthy and respectful environment.

Things to note

  1. We recommend that participants carry their personal locks and keys to keep their rooms locked at all times. (They can be purchased from nearby shops)
  2. Avoid eating outside food during the course.
  3. Feel free to carry basic medicines for cold, flu, motion sickness, dehydration, etc.
  4. It is recommended to bring your bathroom accessories - toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and toothbrush 
  5. Also recommended to bring an umbrella, raincoat, and flashlight.
  6. In the event of any program changes, we intend to keep you updated.
  7. Yoga Teacher  reserves the right to request a participant to leave from the retreat in case of violation.
  8. Participants will receive a certificate of successful completion at the end of the retreat

  1. Is this a certified Yoga Institute/Organisation?
    - Yes, It is. 

  2. Who is the Yoga teacher and what is his/her experience?
    - Shri Nitin Ananta  is a certified yoga teacher who has been teaching both in India and internationally 

  3. I'm a beginner. Can I do this retreat?
    - Yes, this retreat is designed for all types: beginner, intermediate, and advanced yoga practitioners.

  4. How many students can be accommodated?
    -A maximum of 25 students will be accommodated on a first-come-first-serve basis.

  5. Where is this retreat happening and what are the COVID-19 conditions there?
    -There are no COVID-19 cases in and around the area due to the secluded nature of our surroundings.

  6. What are the government rules for an outsider to come and stay in Uttrakhand and what documentation should one carry along?

  7. Is it a WIFI enabled zone? What are the other available facilities, including food & accommodation?
    - Internet access is available throughout cellular networks along with wifi connection but it will not for heavy software uploading work. Yes you can do video/audio calls and internet surfing with this network.

  8. Is my fee refundable if I cancel my booking? 
    - No. However, it can be adjusted with the upcoming similar retreats in the near future.

  9. Can I extend my stay after this retreat?
    - No, for this retreat as we don't have any day left in the whole October month. We are hosting back to back yoga retreats in the month.

  10. What kind of Yoga style will be taught in the classes?
    -The retreat is designed to give you a taste and blend of Iyengar & Hatha Yoga. We feel that the essence of all yoga styles do lead one to the same fundamental source and experience.

  11. Are you conducting any other yoga retreat apart from this retreat?
    -Yes, this retreat will be followed by another one in Rishikesh in November 2025.

  12. What are the things to keep in mind according to the climatic conditions?
    -Warm clothing is recommended as the climate is cold. You'll also need a hand towel for Yoga classes, a flashlight, water bottles etc.
